Lifting a product doesn't trigger the screen content to update
If the screen does not respond when a product is lifted from its position, work through these checks:
- Check that the product has the correct NEXMO sticker applied to it
- Check that the sticker number matches the value set in the EAN field on the product
- After updating products, confirm you re-set the EAN field with the proper
NEXMO-{number}value, then remove and re-add the products in the Lift & Learn installation - Check that the antenna, driver, and controller cables are connected securely
The screen shows content when no product is lifted
If the screen reacts on its own or stays in product mode without a lift, the cause is usually RFID interference:
- Check for RFID interference: make sure no metal objects are placed near the RFID stickers or the antennas
- Check that the products are positioned correctly so each sticker sits directly above its antenna beneath the shelf
Analytics show many consecutive lifts on the same product
If a single product is logging multiple lift events in a row, the antenna is most likely picking up an unstable signal:
- Check for RFID interference: metal objects near the stickers or antennas can cause the signal to drop and re-register, producing duplicate lift events
- Check that the product sits flat in its position so the sticker stays within the antenna's read zone
